the world of tomorrow

"The world of tomorrow will be, must be, a society based on nonviolence..It may seem a distant goal, an impractical Utopia. But it is not in the least unobtainable, since it can be worked for here and now. An individual can adopt the way of life of the future - the non-violent way - without having to wait for others to do so. And if an individual can do it, cannot whole groups of individuals? Whole nations?"-Mahatma Gandhi,1946…

Globalization... it seems obvious that humanity is heading that direction, but, for sure, there are many different projects of globalization... for example, the 'noglobal' movement was nonviolently opposing the multinational globalization and evolved in 'alter global' green economy movement.... the 'occupy wall street' movement opposing the financial globalization has now become a nonviolent mobilization to 'occupy the world'... all over the…

soccer world cup and the culture of "nationalism"

in these days, in South Africa, they are playing soccer... national teams are confronting the win/loose competitive way to play a game... national anthems, national flags and colours, national fanaticism... every 4 years an overdose of riconstituent for nationalism! everyfour years the olimpic games, the world championship of all sports...

The culture of "nationalism" has planned its survival therapy with a subtile strategy and intelligence... what do you think about it?
